ATH – ALL time highs
PM – Pre Market – Before the market opens 4:00AM – 9:30AM
AH – After Hours – After the market closes 4:00PM – 8:00PM
NHOD – New high of Day
HOD – High of Day
LOW – Low of the Day
EOD – End of the Day
FOMO – Fear of missing out
DD – Researching about the ticker (Stock)
Halt – Trading has been pause by the market due to volatility mainly
Offering – The issue or sale of a security by company (Normally it results in ruthless dumping the entire shares specified in the offering at once)
IPO – Initial Public Offering – Is the first time the of a private company is being offered to the public
Float – The number of shares available for Trading to the public
Low Float – Small amount of shares available for trading which tends to be more volatile with proper volume
Short Float – The ratio of tradable shares being shorted to shares in the market
SS – Share structure – The total amount of shares available to trade by the company
RS – Reverse Split – Reduction in the number of a company traded shares that would result in an increase of the value
Squeeze – When short sellers are forced to buy back their shares due to extreme buying pressure
Spread – The difference between the bid and the ask price
Thin Spread – When the difference between the bid and the ask price increases drastically
Sympathy Play – When a stock starts to gains value due to another stock that it is associate with already running
Slap – To buy the asking price (Market price)
Bag Holding – Holding shares of a losing trade in hope that will reverse one day
